I'm a Berlin-based cinematographer with a background rooted in film production. My work is driven by a singular obsession: images that carry subcultural relevance and the unmistakable pulse of the zeitgeist.
Over the years I've built a body of work that spans the full spectrum of visual storytelling — from high-concept commercials for brands like McDonald's, Hansaplast and Retterspitz, to music videos with artists like Tocotronic, Nevaya and Johannes Oerding, to short films and dance films that push the boundaries of cinematic form.
What defines my approach is the ability to move fluidly between roles. As a Director of Photography, I shape every frame with precision and intent. As a Producer, I understand the full machinery of a production — budgets, logistics, people. And as a Postproducer, I stay with the work long after the camera stops rolling, overseeing colour grading, editing and final delivery. From first concept to finished image, I own the entire process.
My short film work includes Winterecho (2019) and Darlene (2022), and my dance film Opferschicht has been shown at festivals across Germany. I'm based in Berlin and work nationally and internationally.
